Cooperative Living, Open Relationships & Group Marriage
The setting is a Lunar prison colony with men way outnumbering the women. Triads (two men, one woman), gangs of young men lead by one woman and multi-generational (Line) group marriages are among the ways they deal with this shortage. Add a revolution for freedom from the unreasonable restrictions of the Warden and the Earth he represents. One of the leaders of this revolution is also a member of a Line Marriage. Another is a man with some unusual ideas on the meaning of Liberty and still another, a Lady who stirs the crowd to Action, joins this new fight for Freedom and marries into the Line Marriage. We’ll have a good look at how such a marriage works, and what is involved in marrying six adults and adopting children already in the group.
1 pm Pot Luck Lunch-Bring something healthy and delicious to share
2 – 3 pm Exercises for Growing Closer –Verbal and non-verbal
3 – 4 pm Socializing in Clothing Optional Hot tub.
Filk follows the meeting. Science Fiction folk songs from the outrageously funny Banned from Argo Star Trek spoof to the Ballad of Apollo 13 and other more serious songs of the space age. Ask for a Harry Potter song or something on group marriage by Heinlein and you are likely to get it!
We may watch a poly movie like Paint Your Wagon or Substitute Wife between the LTD Meeting and the Filk or do something else like stay in the hot tub as the participants desire.
