Fiction authors such as Heinlein, Spider Robinson and Marion Zimmer Bradley have offered us marriage ceremonies for joining with more than one significant other.  We will discuss not only the ceremonies themselves, but the promises being made and the effect of the future of the relationships being committed to.  In the real world, the Church of all Worlds, Loving More and others have created such vows & ceremonies for current use. We will have examples of those as well.

6 pm on Pot luck dinner followed by FILK— (science fiction folk songs) from such serious ones as Ballad of Apollo 13 to the outrageously funny Star Trek filk song ‘Banned from Argo’.   We have some specifically poly ones, too, including those based on Heinlein’s writings.  Ask for your favorite topic or science fiction book and flikers will find or create it!
